Rick Harvey's misadventure on the sea

Rick lets out a long and draw out sigh. "Well a deal is a deal, so I'll go with you. Just so you know though I won't join you, nor do I want you to try and force me to. Now can you take me to this place? Also remember o funny bussiness." Rick makes his deck into a complete deck, and then puts it back into his disk. After Rick shakes his head he waits for the mysterious person to do something.

"Of course. Follow me." The strange man walked away from the docks, and about 50 feet away a black car was waiting. The man got in the front passengers seat.

"Do get in, if you wish to come." (After you reply, we're changing the topic to the POD headquarters.)

"ok. After all a deal is a deal." Rick Harvey entered the car after missing the handle on the door a few times. "What is so special about POD anyway?"

"We're essentially a dueling network for upcoming duelists in the Pro leagues. We manage their schedules, help train them, help arrange their matches occasionally, and sometimes even get them places to stay. Things like that. At least that's what the public knows about us anyways true. Although you probably know this already, but there's much more to our group then that, although I'll let the boss fill you in on those details." Rick went back to the dock, and checked his suitcase. Only to find that the cards were missing, and that he could smell the heavy scent of pizza, anchovy pepperoni pizza too. After Rick finished recovering from the smell Rick yelled, "Sylvanis!!!!!" Rick decided to fallow the smell no matter what would happen. Then he went off to follow the scent all the way to the museum.

After the actions that went down at the museum Rick went back to the docks to think about the day, and what's happened. *so much has happened, and I have very little to show for it. I lost my friend, I have to pay a debt by entering the tournament, and my deck isn't good. I still don't trust those cards, or that entire organization. They may say to use the cards, but I can win without them.* Rick practices his throw for a moment before throwing th cards to the end of the dock with a ship was pulling into the harbor.

Syveta was watching Rick. Then she came up to him and sat down on the dock next to him.

"You really like this place a lot like I do, don't you?"

"What going on with you?" For some reason this guy reminded her a lot of her guardian, Kaosu; maybe that was part of the reason she didn't feel like being cruel to this man.

Rick explained in great detail about the bet he lost, and whaat he has to do. Also Rick explained the situation with Sylvanis leaving him for POD. "I don't know what I CAN do, but I know what I WILL do. I am going to take down POD, or at least snap some senses into the people that work there.

"I never said I would fight them all at once. Haven't you heard of guerilla warefare? The same tactics could work here in a different way. Like the tournament there's going to be a few taking there time getting there. Those people I pick off that way the force isn't as big in the final battle. Also facing Sylvanis taught me every enemy you beat is another fighting for you." Rick smiles, but is still standing on the docks. "Maybe those cards they give people to make them stronger can be turned. If I get enough of their top duelists then those special cards that they have can be used to fight POD. The exact same people that're handing them out."

"Cards may choose owners, but cards are also forced onto people. I am ready for the tournament. I won't use those cards. I could show what POD truly is in front of every, but that should be the last step." Rick holds the medallion he has around his neck, and puts it in the suitcase.

"I'm going to be in the tournament too. I have my own reasons for being in it." She didn't feel like telling him why though.

"Yeah." After hearing what POD was capable of, she thought that maybe they could help her with the curse that was placed on her. Those Rules of Engagement prevented her from killing others; she needed to break it.

Rick's head popped up, and he just remembered a big part of the story that was left out. "I almost forgot POD offered to restore my eyesight fi I beat some people in the tournament. I got mad at the tone and way he prestented the question, so I switched it for money. Do you think that was a good idea?"

"It doesn't matter because there's always a little cloud that follows me." Rick's goes from a grin to a serious face in a fraction of a second.
