| Luka so badly wanted to cry. Her moment of victory.....gone.....just like that. One simple spell card and all her monsters were gone! Tears began to well up in her eyes, but she fought to hold them back. It was her turn, and she needed to see what else she had in store.
"I-I draw...." nothing. she had nothing that could save her right now. "I end my turn...." already, she felt defeated....already she wanted to run away.

| "My turn, I draw. I summon Celtic Guardian number 2 and flip-up warrior lady of the wasteland. I'll attack you directly with both of them (5400). "I'll end my turn with that. Your big combo gets ruined and you cry? That must have been the high moment of your dueling career." The MSS member laughed. | |

| Hearing his laughter at her downfall made her actually cry now. Tears began to roll down her cheeks as she drew her card. She could have stopped those attacks with her face downs....but she was waiting for a better opportunity. And the pain felt from the attack served as a kind of punishment to bring her back to reality.
"I activate Mystical Space Typhoon....destroying one of your face downs...." a trap card disappeared, as did her spell. "I end my turn."

| "My turn, I draw! Don't cry now; I'll put you out of your misery. I play another Celtic Guardian#2! I activate call of the haunted, bringing back Rose, Warrior of Revenge. Attack her directly, my monsters!"
"When Rose declairs an attack, I activate damage wall. You take the damage from that attack instead of me (Guard, 5200) (Luna, 1300).
"You're wasting your time hanging on like that. I end my turn."

| She was hanging on for dear life...trying to get herself back in the game. "Why are you so mean? Why do you have to be such a...such a.....jerk?!" Luka drew her card. This could give her another turn, if her deck liked her. "I'll place one more card face down....its not over yet..." | |

| "I draw! Why do I have to be such a jerk you ask? Well, I guess that's what I look like to you. But anyone would call you on this. I mean, other then a few 6 and 7 year olds, I have never seen anyone cry while losing a game. My turn, I draw. I attack you directly!"
"I activate reckless greed, drawing two cards."
"That's not going to cut it! Game over!" (Luka, 0)
"Well now, I guess I can't have you leaving you here alive, so I think I'll kill you and dumb your body in the...." A audible, *beep* caused him to stop mid-sentence and turn around.
"Who the hell are you?"
Selina stepped forward, glaring at him. She was holding her PDA in her hand and had her duel disk on her arm.
"I'm Selina Duskroot. And I really don't take kindly to you threatening my best friend like that." She sounded surprisingly intimidating.

| Luka fell on all fours as her life points hit zero. "Why....why can't i win?" She didn't hold back the tears now...and let the fall freely to the cold floor. Her heart stopped short when he mentioned killing her. "Wh-what?!"
Then the door opened and loud beep sounded. Luka looked over her shoulder and saw Solina standing there, duel disk at the ready. "S-Selina?! What....I thought you were looking for your brother?!"
Then she heard something come out of Selina's mouth that she never would have expected:
"I'm Selina Duskroot And I really don't take kindly to you threatening my best friend like that."
"B-Best friend...?" Luka didn't know what to think about that. "S-Selina, no! He's dangerous!"

| Sunny, Selina's brother was nearby, leaning against the far wall. Selina stepped forward a bit more.
"Luka, let me make myself perfectly clear. These people have kidnapped my brother for a couple of month, killed their own comrade, and not they've attempted to kill you just now. I'm really pissed off at them; so what makes you think I'm any less dangerous then they are right now?" Selina turned her attention to the guy.
"Gary, I'm going to give you one chance to turn yourself in. If you do, you might get off as an accomplice when we get back to the academy."
Gary was hiding how nervous he was. He just grinned and said:
"Selina, what makes you think I'm going to turn myself in? I'm going to get a lot of money off of the upcoming tournament. We've rigged it so that Ruben Feral will win all of his matches. His opponents won't be able to activate their important spells and traps. It's not like Ruben needs any insurance; he's the strongest in the disciplinary squad. But it doesn't hurt to have insurance."
Selina just glared at him. "So that's who you guys are going to bet on. Now let me clue you in on something. As soon as I get back to the island, I'm taking over the disciplinary squad again. And for the record, Ruben may be a strong duelist, but he has never defeated me." [color=green]
Gary raised his duel disk.
"You'll have to beat me in a duel to get out of here."
"Not really." Selina rushed forward and pulled a taser out of her dress, and used it on him. Gary fell to the floor rather quickly.
"I usually resolve my issues with people for a duel, but I've had enough of this affair. I've called the staff. They'll be here soon." Selina went over to Sunny and helped him get up.

| Saix emerged from the room he had been dueling in towards the exit, back to Selina and Luka. His mind was completely fogged from what had just occured. The cloak of Raviel began to fade from him as he stumbled down the halls. His vision was blurred as he came into the room Luka had been left in.
He saw a few people gathered around but he could not make out who they were. Raviel had whispered in his ear 'Get Them Out of Here' and Saix did just that. He raised his hand at them and a magic seal opened near their feet.
"This will take you back to the Academy... goodbye" Saix then turned away from them and went into another direction. He had nothing but shame and failure in his heart. And didn't want to be around any of them. He couldn't see much at all past his eyes now and stumbled into a pipe. He slid down to the floor and kept gazing straight in front of him until he would pass out.
The dark world monster's he had come to know gathered around him as the place grew unstable. Saix's aura had been becoming more unstable with the less control he had of his consciousness. Surges of power shot out from him hitting pipes further down the corridor. One of these pipes exploded... The place was going down.
He began to say to himself in a low voice "Selina... i got him back... you have your brother... And Luka..... i'm sorry i couldn't give you the strength to win.. but i'm sure.. you'll find it, and become amazing... Even more than you are now... I just hope i can be there when that happens"

| Everything was happening so fast. Luka quickly stood up as she saw Saix slump to the floor. "Oh, Saix! come on, I'm not going anywhere without you!" She knelt down and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and stood, dragging him. "Come on..." Of course, she felt defeated...but she had such a soft spot for Saix that she couldn't leave him there. She didn't know what was wrong...but they would talk about it later.
Just a few steps later, and they were through the portal...

| he looked over at Luka wondering what she was doing. Why couldn't she just leave him there? He was obviously a threat to himself and everyone around him and was better to let him go down with the place. Although, at the same time. He was glad. His aura had calmed as soon as Luka had taken him. He always felt such unease and distruption in his heart, but that always went away because of Luka.
"Luka... Thank you..." a single tear of blood ran down his cheek as he went through the portal transporting them to the beach of Wicken Academy.
